How to log in to Crowded as an admin
If you've already signed up and created a Crowded account for your group on Crowded, you can log in using the phone number you registered with:
- Sign out out and sign back in on Crowded web portal.
- Try clearing the cache and cookies of your web browser.
- Try using a different browser.
- Connect to a different network e.g. Cellular Data or a different WiFi.
- If neither of the options works, please try logging in using a different device.
Troubleshooting
Check Your Entries:
- Verify that you're accurately inputting your phone number, excluding the numerical country code as it's automatically added once you choose your country.
- Ensure you're entering the two-factor authentication code correctly.
Phone Verification While Abroad:
If you cannot verify your phone number through SMS, especially while traveling abroad, we recommend downloading and using WhatsApp as your verification method. Once you have WhatsApp downloaded to your device, you can receive your verification code there and not incur any roaming fees.
Check that you're registered with a group on Crowded:
- If you're not registered with a group on Crowded, you will not be able to access the Crowded web or mobile app. Confirm that you're already registered on Crowded with your group admin. If not, ask your admin for an invite link to register. Once your registration is finalized, you can log in using the phone number you initially registered with.
Read-Only User on Mobile App:
- Note that the mobile app is not accessible to users with a read-only role. If you're trying to log in as a read-only user, please log into the web app for access.
Troubleshooting Crowded Mobile App:
- Restart the App: Begin by restarting the Crowded app on your device.
- Clear Cache: Clear your device's cache to eliminate potential conflicts.
- Update the App: Ensure you have the latest version of the Crowded app installed.
- Reinstall the App: If the previous steps don't resolve the issue, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the Crowded app.
