How do I transfer money internationally?
- Log in to the Crowded app on your phone. International transfers are not available on the web
- Select “Transfer Money”
- Select the “Transfer to Card” option
- Input your home debit or credit card information:
- Full name on card
- Phone number
- Billing address
- Card number
- Expiration date
- CVV
- Choose how much money you’d like to transfer.
- Check everything over, and if all the details are correct, submit the transfer!
Which countries can I transfer money to?
Argentina, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and Uruguay.
Which cards are accepted for international transfers?
Only Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards can be used as the recipients of Crowded’s in-app international transfers.
What is the minimum transfer amount?
The minimum transfer amount with Crowded is $20.
What is my Per Diem account's billing address?
The billing address for your Per Diem account is not your personal address, it is the official address of the account that issued you the Per Diem account.
How to transfer money internationally if Crowded does not work?
We suggest transferring money internationally using Remitly to those who’s home country is not supported by our in-app international transfer service or if they do not have a Visa or Mastercard card. Crowded does not have any partnership or relationship with Remitly, if you experience issues with Remitly, unfortunately, we cannot assist.
How to send money from my Crowded Per Diem Account to another country with Remitly
- Sign up for a Remitly account by clicking “Sign up” on Remitly.com.
- Input your email address and create a password.
- Choose the country you want to send money to.
- Click “Send Money”.
- Input the amount you want to send in USD.
- For “Payment method” choose “Debit card”.
- Click “Continue”.
- Select your home bank provider.
- Input the details of your home bank account.
- Input your name.
- Input your billing address.
- Put in your phone number.
- And submit the transfer!
Unfortunately, as Crowded and Remitly are separate companies, our support team cannot help if you do not receive your transfer.
How do I get the 5-digit code?
If an external transfer service is asking for a 5-digit code, please reach out to our support team. We will be able to provide that information.
