Why was my filing rejected?
Your organization’s Form 990-EZ Filing may have contained the following errors:
- Incomplete or incorrect information, such as EIN, tax period, etc.
- Filing for the wrong tax year
- Duplicate filing for the same year
- Tax-exempt status was revoked

If you have submitted the Form 990-EZ, keep an eye on the email you used to submit the form for updates via email.
What happens after I submit the Form 990-EZ?
After you have submitted the form, the Crowded team will take the inputted information and format it into a PDF copy of the IRS Form 990-EZ and any accompanying schedules for your final review and signature. Once this is done, the form and schedules will be filed to the IRS.
Can I update any details of my Form 990-EZ after I submit the form?
If you would like to update any of the information submitted in the Form 990-EZ, that can be done during the final review stage before the form is submitted to the IRS. Once the form is submitted, it cannot be changed.
