How do I add a Crowded digital debit card to my virtual wallet?
If you're having trouble adding your card to your digital wallet, try freezing and un-freezing your card and then add it to your Wallet again.

Apple Wallet
- From the main dashboard of the mobile app, locate your digital card by swiping left or right and click "Details."
- Tap the "Add to Apple Wallet" button.
Google Wallet
- From the main dashboard of the mobile app, locate your digital card by swiping left or right
- Select "Card Details."
- Tap the "Add to Google Pay" button.
- Then, select the Google account associated with your Google Pay account.
How do I manually add my card to Apple Wallet?
- Go to the Wallet app.
- Tap on '+'
- Tap on Debit or Credit Card
- Tap on 'Continue'.
- Tap 'Enter card Details Manually.'
- Log into your Crowded app. Click into the card you'd like to add to Apple Pay.
- Click 'View Card Details' and enter your passcode and wait for the text message with a unique code.
- Click on the 16-digit card number to copy to clipboard.
- Return to the Wallet app and paste into the 'Card Number' field. Fill in the CVV and expiration date too, and click 'Next'.
- Read the Issuer Terms and tap 'Accept'.
- After, you'll be prompted to ‘verify' the new card and choose the method.
- Select the most convenient verification method. If you have a non-US phone number, please select to verify via email.
- Enter the verification code sent to you, and your card will be ready for spending!
How do I manually add my card to Google Wallet?
To manually add your Crowded digital card to Google Pay:
- Open the Google Wallet app.
- At the bottom, tap Add to Wallet +.
- Tap Payment card.
- Any cards you saved to your Google Account are shown.
- Tap New credit or debit card.
- To add a card, use your camera or tap Enter details manually.
- Log into your Crowded app. Click into the card you'd like to add to Apple Pay.
- Click 'View Card Details' and enter your passcode and wait for the text message with a unique code.
- Click on the 16-digit card number to copy to clipboard.
- Return to the Wallet app and paste into the 'Card Number' field. Fill in the CVV and expiration date too, and click 'Next'.
- At the bottom, tap Save.
- Read the Issuer Terms and tap Accept.
- Select the most convenient verification method. If you have a non-US phone number, please select to verify via email.
- You'll receive a one-time passcode to your phone.
- Enter the code and you’ll be good to go 🤑
Tip: After this step, you should get a message that your card was added and is ready to make contactless payments in stores, online, or in apps where Google Pay is accepted. If you get a different message, learn to fix a problem.
After you add a card, you might find a small transaction on your account from Google Wallet. This transaction checks that your card and account are valid. This transaction will soon disappear and won’t affect your balance.

Can I use my digital card outside of the United States?
Yes, you can use your digital Visa® debit card to make purchases while traveling outside of the United States, anywhere Visa® is accepted.
How do I view card details for making online purchases?
- Log in to the platform on the web or app
- Click on the relevant card, and then “Show Card Details.”
- Verify your identity by entering your passcode, and then entering the SMS sent to your phone
- Click “Copy Card Number” to copy the full card number into the online checkout
- Copy the expiration date and CVV into the online checkout
- Click hide card details when finished to keep the information secure.
- Copy and paste the billing address shown, not your personal address.
Is there a limit on single or daily purchases for virtual debit cards?
There is a daily limit of $5,000 on purchases made with virtual Expense cards that resets at 7:00 PM EST daily.
Can I withdraw cash from an ATM using a virtual card?
ATM withdrawals using virtual Visa® cards are not currently supported.
