Can I deposit cash into my Crowded account?
If you have a physical Expense or Per Diem debit card, you may be able to deposit cash into your account. Only the AllPoint+ ATMs in the US allow cash deposits with a physical debit card. Search through AllPoint locations and Filter to Allpoint+ Cash Deposit ATMs to find the location closest to you!
Are there limits on how much cash I can deposit?
Yes. Here are some restrictions to keep in mind when depositing cash:
Deposit up to $2,000 per card per day with your Expense card.
However, each individual deposit can only be: $1,000 at a time or 100 bills at a time (whichever limit is reached first)
Tip: Deposit less than the limit to reduce rejections. We suggest depositing $990 per deposit.
Why is my cash deposit being rejected?
ATMs may reject crumpled, torn, worn or folded bills. To ensure your cash deposit is accepted, use flat, unwrinkled bills and do not deposit more than the daily limit.
Tip: Flatten bills ahead of time for faster acceptance.
What should I do if the cash deposit is rejected?
Here are a few actions to try if your cash deposit is being rejected:
1. Cancel the transaction and start over with a smaller amount.
2. Ensure that the bills you are inserting are not overly worn, crumpled, torn or folded
3. Ensure your daily deposit limit has not been exceeded.
4. If inserted $100, try inserting smaller bills instead. (If the ATM is located in a store, they may be willing to exchange cash)
5. Use a different Crowded card (a different Admin card, Expense Card or Per Diem card).
If issues continue, use a different Allpoint+ ATM when possible.
Can digital cards be used to deposit cash?
Unfortunately not. Only physical cards can be used to deposit cash.
