How do I transfer money into Crowded via ACH from an external bank account?
Transfer funds into your Crowded Account in two ways.
The first option is to initiate an ACH transfer from your external bank account.
- Log in to your chosen external bank account to initiate an ACH transfer.
- When asked about the recipient, if your bank works with Plaid, connect to Crowded via Plaid by searching Crowded and completing the login.
- If Plaid is not an option, select to add the recipient manually.
- Log in to the Crowded web portal to access your routing and account number here. Click on “My Accounts” from the sidebar. Click the three dots, and select “Account Details.”
- Copy and paste the information from the Crowded portal into the fields.
- For account type, select “Checking.”
- Complete the transfer with the desired amount.
How do I transfer money into Crowded within Crowded?
Transfer money into Crowded via ACH through the Plaid network.
Whether you want to permanently move away from your existing bank account to digital, branchless banking or simply transition some funds into Crowded, you can link your bank account in a few easy steps:
- Log in to the Crowded web portal.
- Click the 'Move Money' button on the top right of the dashboard screen, and select 'Deposit to Crowded'
- Click the button 'Add bank account'.
- Enter your Crowded passcode to verify your identity
- Search for your existing banking provider.
- Log in with that bank’s credentials
- Select the accounts to link (Select all that apply) and confirm to share the banking information.
- Name the account within Crowded, select the account type and save.

After you’ve linked the bank account, you can quickly transfer money into Crowded. Simply select the amount you want to transfer and confirm.
How long does it take for an incoming ACH to appear in my account?
ACH transfers can take up to 1-5 business days to arrive. The processing time can change according to the bank sending the funds.

What are the incoming ACH transfer limits?
Crowded does not limit incoming ACH transfers from an external bank account. Please check the sending bank's limits.
The limit on Plaid transfers is $250,000 per day and also $250,000 a month.
