How do I send a wire transfer?
- Log in to Crowded on the web portal
- Click on the Move Money button in the top right corner
- Choose Send Funds
- Either pick an existing recipient or click + Add Recipient.
- Input the following details to add a new wire recipient:
- Nickname - a way to remember this recipient
- Legal Name
- Account Number
- Routing Number
- Full address of the recipient institution
- Street address
- City
- State
- ZIP code
- Country
- Input the following details to add a new wire recipient:
- Then select wire transfer.
- Enter the desired transfer amount
- Add in a reference for the transfer that would be clear to both parties
- Review all the details to ensure everything looks correct.
- Verify your identity with your 4-digit PIN code
- Confirm, and your wire transfer will be sent!
Can I send a wire to a non-US entity?
Only domestic wires are available at the moment. We hope to release international wires in the coming months!
What is the minimum wire transfer amount?
The minimum outgoing wire transfer is $100.
What is the wire transfer cutoff time?
Send a wire transfer before 6 PM EST for the transfer to be sent in real time.
